Medical Education and Certifications
- Dr.Venkataram was born in India and graduated from one of the top five Medical Colleges in India.
- He worked as a Medical Doctor in Jamaica, West Indies for a few years, completed a 3 yr residency in Surgery, before moving to United States.
- He interned at George Town Department of Medicine of D.C. General Hospital and completed his Residency in Internal Medicine at St.Agnes Hospital in Baltimore, a John's Hopkins affiliate.
- Dr.Venkataram is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. During his career spanning over 20 years, Dr. Venkataram has published in medical journals and has several awards of recognition, including a Certificate of Recognition by American College of Physicians.
- He has served as a Lead Physician for JSA Health Care and is currently a Physician Leader for its affiliate physicians. He is a member of American College of Physicians and Florida Medical Association.
- Dr. Venkataram has made Tampa Bay his home since 1997 and lives with his wife and two children. His interests include fine arts, exercising and family outings and trips.
- He is thoroughly commited to caring for his patients and follows his own patients at The University Community Hospital on Fletcher Avenue. He is also affiliated with St.Joseph's Hospital in Tampa.
